I brought my 2006 Jeep Commander to Quality Alignment & Mechanical because it was making a grinding/clunking noise under acceleration. I scheduled an appointment to have them look at it. At no point when scheduling was I told that simply inspecting/diagnosing the vehicle was going to cost me around $150, yet that's what I was charged. Then I received several estimates totaling nearly $5,800. What really bothered me was the parts pricing. On the main front driveline repair, I was quoted: $790.26 for an N53004 driveshaft $388.05 for differential mounting bracket 52114354AA $62.17 for axle seal 52111338AC $202.44 for two differential isolators Afterward, I looked up the exact part numbers myself. I found the same N53004 driveshaft for roughly $321, the mounting bracket for around $38, the genuine Mopar axle seal for around $34, and aftermarket isolators for around $15 each. Those four components alone were quoted to me at roughly $1,443, while comparable retail pricing was around $424. I understand repair shops mark up parts. They have overhead, warranties, labor, and a business to operate. But there's a huge difference between a normal parts markup and charging more than twice re

We brought our car to Quality Alignment because the A/C wasn't working. We were told the compressor had failed and paid about $1,500 to have it replaced. Unfortunately, the A/C still didn't work. We brought it back, and they said the new compressor had also failed. It was replaced under warranty. After that, we brought the vehicle back multiple more times because the A/C still wasn't working. We were repeatedly told the air was measuring cold enough and that they couldn't find a problem. On another visit, they found an additional issue that cost us around $160, but that still didn't fix the A/C. We waited through the winter and tried again in the spring of 2026. Again, they said they couldn't find anything wrong. When we returned in the summer, they suddenly found another failed part and explained that their machine hadn't been able to detect it previously "for some reason." That repair cost another $600. Shortly after that repair, we experienced another scary issue while on a road trip. Our car began overheating because a connector and hose started leaking coolant. We can't say for certain what caused it, but given the amount of work that had been done in that area and the repeate

"Quality Alignment and Quality Service." The cam phasers on my Ford F150 with a 3.5 eco boost were clacking and sounded like a diesel on start up. I went into the shop here in Nampa and got a estimate. Of course I had already researched on the internet everything I could on the problem. It was a 14 to 17 hour job for a skilled mechanic. On the phone and at the service desk everyone was friendly and professional. They gave me an estimate and got my truck in thereafter. They said it would be done the next day and it was... The mechanic who worked on my truck even took a video of the cam phasers still on the motor. Three out of four were bad. He also brought out one of the broken phasers to show me what happens when they go out. The bonus plus was my engine compartment was clean and the truck runs and sounds like a new one. I highly recommend Quality Alignment for your service needs. Jim R.

I was at a car show recently when one of the local Mustang guys mentioned my wheels looked a little off and recommended I get an alignment. That same day, I made an appointment. When I got to Quality, the shop was clean, welcoming, and the team immediately took an interest in the car. They even got me in early, which was a great surprise. After taking a look, they walked me through what they found and let me give the go-ahead. Fortunately, nothing major was off, but they made a few smallβ€”yet significantβ€”adjustments. On the drive home, I couldn’t believe the difference. The Mustang drove incredibly smooth and handled like a completely different car. It was a night-and-day improvement. I even called the shop afterward to let them know just how much of a difference it made. Huge thanks to the team at Quality for dialing it in!

I’ve had a really great experience with this shop. They replaced my catalytic converter and have also done my oil changes, and every time the service has been fast, honest, and fairly priced. They took the time to explain what was going on with my car without making me feel pressured or confused. It’s hard to find mechanics you can truly trust, but this is definitely one of those places. Highly recommend if you need alignment work or general car maintenance.
